Jim Flynn (harp), Bree Clarke (soprano) and Andrew Monohan (cello) perform Bach/Gounod's Ave Maria
Andrew started his cello studies at the age of four in 1985. He was trained by a number of notable SF Bay Area cellists including Grammy-Award winner, Nina Flyer. Andrew performed with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra from 1992-2000. In 2000, Andrew toured with PACO and competed in the Vienna International String Competition. From 2000-2004 Andrew studied cello, voice, composition, and improvisation at De Anza College. He played principal cello with the De Anza Chamber Orchestra. Andrew performs regular cello and singing gigs in the NY Metro Area and will travel. Andrew writes musical theatre, opera, original songs and arrangements. Andrew lives happily in Brooklyn, NY.
